⎨SI⎬ Recept za bučno pito

Sestavine za en pekač za pito

  • 250 g moke, ščep soli
  • 125 g masla ali margarine
  • 1 jajce ali 2 rumenjaka
  • 100 g sladkorja
  • vrečka vaniljevega sladkorja
  • limonova lupinica
  • po potrebi žlica ali dve vode, mleka ali kisle smetane

Sestavine za nadeva

  • 1 vrečka vanilijevega pudinga z burbonsko vanilijo
  • 2 žlici belega sladkorja (za puding)
  • bučni pire srednje hokaido ali maslene buče (če niste ljubitelji buče v sladicah, bučo zamenjajte s tremi bananami)
  • 2 žlici arašidovega masla
  • 2 žlici kokosovega sladkorja
  • “pumpkin spice” začimbe v prahu (1/2 žličke cimeta, 1/4 žličke muškatnega oreščka, dva ščepca klinčkov in dva ščepca ingverja)

Priprava

  1. Pito pripravimo po korakih, ki so opisani tukaj.
  2. Prazno pitno dno obtežimo kar s fižolom ali pa s keramičnimi utežmi, ki so namenjene prav za peko pite.
  3. Puding skuhamo po navodilih na vrečki in še vročega vlijemo v spečeno testo za pito.
  4. Bučni pire dobro spasiramo, dodamo arašidovo maslo, kokosov sladkor in začimbe. Zmešanico vlijemo nad plast pudinga.
  5. Pito damo v hladilnik za eno do dve uri.

⎨EN⎬ Recipe for pumpkin spice pie

For the pie dough

  • 250 g flour, pinch of salt
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • lemon zest
  • 2 spoons water

For the pie filling

  • 1 bag of instant vanilla pudding with bourbon vanilla
  • 2 tbsp white sugar (for pudding)
  • Pumpkin puree of medium hokaido pumpkin (you can substitute pumpkin for 3 bananas)
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • powdered pumpkin spice mix (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger)

Preparation

Pie crust:

  1. Put flour, sugar, salt and cold butter in a bowl and mix using stand mixer with metal blade attachment.
  2. Add eggs and mix further.
  3. Form a loaf, wrap it in plastic foil and put it in the fridge for an hour.
  4. Grease the pie tin with butter.
  5. Roll the dough and put it into the tin. If it’s easier you can also use hands and form the dough in the tin.
  6. Use beans or ceramic baking beans to bake the pie crust.
  7. Bake on 180 degres / 15-20 minutes.

Filling:

  1. Cook pudding as it says on the package and put it hot in the pie crust.
  2. Mix pumpkin puree, peanut butter, coconut sugar and spices and pour it above the pudding filling.
  3. Pie should be in the fride for an hour or two before serving.
